Finding elusive morel is a stroke of luck
I consider myself to be a lucky person. I have a great family and friends, I eat good food, have good health and I love where I live. But when it comes to having good luck in such things as winning the lottery or, better yet, coming upon a patch of morels in a wooded spot, I am absolutely luckless.
I have searched for the elusive morel for years and my one and only encounter with the prized fungi was a solitary mushroom that had popped up beneath the apple tree in my yard. I so wanted to pluck it but I figured there wasn't much I could do with a single morel so I let it be in the hopes that it would come back the following year and bring several friends. Alas, it was not to be.
Choppy bathroom layout gets a clean look
Jon and Kris were fed up with their dysfunctional en suite bathroom. Just getting ready for work every morning was a big challenge. The bathroom was actually divided into three separate spaces — each with its own door — and the result was a choppy layout that had them tripping over each other in the race to get ready and get out of there.
